We welcome complete beginners and teach in a clear, structured way that nurtures progress and inspires confidence - whether you're a child starting out or an adult returning to the piano. Whether you want to learn piano simply for the joy of playing your favourite music, or to accompany yourself while singing, lessons can be tailored to suit your goals and interests.
Learning to play the piano offers far more than just musical ability - it can boost your confidence, coordination, mood, and mental well-being. It also helps develop memory, focus, motor skills, discipline, and a deeper understanding of the commitment it takes to succeed - both in music and in life. For dedicated students, we offer exam preparation through the London College of Music.

PIANO
EXAMS
Students who wish to pursue graded exams have the opportunity to prepare for London College of Music (LCM) Piano Exams - a well-respected and structured pathway for musical development. These exams cover a broad range of skills, including performance, scales and arpeggios, sight-reading, and music theory.
LCM exams are available at all levels, from beginner grades through to diploma level, and are an excellent way to set goals, track progress, and build confidence. Accredited by Ofqual, DfES and CCEA, higher grades carry UCAS points, which can support university applications for students in secondary education.
Our Piano exams support GCSE, BTEC & A-Level music. We are a London College of Music private exam centre, and all exams are taken on site, at our studios.

At Midlands Voice Academy, we offer a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, giving students the chance to showcase their progress and apply the skills they’ve developed in lessons.
