At MVA, our passionate and highly skilled vocal coaches are here to help you, or your child, unlock true vocal potential. We offer expert Drama tuition for all ages and experience levels, in a warm, welcoming, and encouraging environment. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a seasoned performer, or simply looking to build confidence, our one-to-one acting lessons are tailored to support your personal goals - at any age or stage. From aspiring child actors to adults reigniting a passion for the stage, we create a fun, supportive environment where every student can thrive.
Lessons follow the LAMDA syllabus and include a dynamic mix of drama warm-ups, voice and speech work, monologues, duologues, improvisation, character development, and acting technique. Sessions are available for children and adults alike, from beginner to advanced level. Based at our Hinckley studios - LAMDA exams are available but always optional. Our vibrant and supportive MVA community is always ready to welcome new faces with open arms - you’ll feel right at home in no time.

LAMDA
EXAMS
Taking LAMDA exams is a rewarding way to build confidence, develop performance skills, and gain a recognised qualification in drama and communication. These exams cover a wide range of disciplines, including Acting, Speaking in Public, Verse and Prose, Devising Drama, and Speaking of Text. Depending on the level and subject, students may explore character development, voice and movement techniques, text interpretation, improvisation, and performance skills.
At Midlands Voice Academy, we offer expert one-to-one coaching tailored to your chosen exam and level. Whether you're preparing for your first graded exam or aiming for a medal qualification, we support you every step of the way - ensuring you're confident, prepared, and able to perform at your best. LAMDA exams are entirely optional, but many students find them a motivating and enriching part of their drama journey.

At Midlands Voice Academy, we offer a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, giving students the chance to showcase their progress and apply the skills they’ve developed in lessons.
